From Columbus City Schools: In our effort to assist our students with completing online coursework, Columbus City Schools is providing Chromebook computers for students who do not have access to a computer at home. Each household is limited to one device, which must be returned when school re-opens.
The computers will be given out to students at their assigned school of enrollment at our traditional middle schools and K-8 buildings on Friday, March 27, and Monday, March 30, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Please see the following schedule to determine the date for your student’s school:
Friday, March 27, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Region 1 – Hilltonia, Starling K-8, Wedgewood, Westmoor
Region 3 – Buckeye, Champion
Region 4 – Dominion, Indianola Informal K-8, Ridgeview
Monday, March 30, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Region 2 – Prep School for Boys, Prep School for Girls, Johnson Park, Sherwood, Yorktown
Region 5 – Medina, Mifflin MS, Woodward Park, Woodward Park at Walden
Region 6 – Arts Impact MS, Berwick K-8, Columbus Gifted Academy
Parents or guardians must accompany the student, and both will be required to sign a liability agreement before receiving the device, which must be returned when school re-opens.
Please be mindful of your student’s peers, and do not pick up a computer if you do not need it. We want to get computers in the hands of all students across the District who do not have access to a computer at home.
