The Franklin County Treasurer’s office is seeking submissions from emerging and professional artists living in Franklin County to exhibit in the office’s public spaces and hallways. This exhibit is not juried and is open to artists working in all mediums.
IN COLLABORATION WITH OUR LOCAL ART COMMUNITY OUR UPCOMING THEME WILL REPLICATE THAT OF MANY OF THE AREA ART ORGANIZATIONS IN AND AROUND COLUMBUS AND FRANKLIN COUNTY IN HONOR AND CELEBRATION OF THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE HARLEM RENAISSANCE.
Artwork that fits the exhibition theme of “HARLEM RENAISSANCE” literally and/or figuratively is being sought.
Artists can submit up to 3 pieces. Work must be 2D, wired and ready to hang.
Exhibit runs from September 4 through November 16, 2018

~ maximum size artwork to be accepted is 24 x 36 inches and needs to be vertically oriented
~ each art piece delivered needs to include artist information on back
~ artists are to take their work at the end of the closing reception
~ all sales will be handled by the individual artist who will make arrangements for purchaser(s) to either pick up artwork at the closing reception or for delivery afterward.
Submit label information including: title/year of art; medium/size; artist contact information; and price via email by August 16 to Tina Ferner.
Artists can submit images they wish to be considered for marketing purposes by Monday, August 13
