Bexley Community Author Series Presents SUSAN ORLEAN

April 27 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Bexley is thrilled to welcome New York Times bestselling author and journalist Susan Orlean as our featured guest for the 2021 Bexley Community Author Series!

During her author talk, Ms. Orlean will reflect on her career and writing process followed by an interview with Dr. Ivonne Garcia from the College of Wooster and Q&A from the audience. Join us for this FREE online event by registering at BEXLEYLIBRARY.ORG/BCAS.

Heralded as “a national treasure” by The Washington Post, Ms. Orlean’s newest release, The Library Book, was an instant New York Times bestseller. A breathtaking exploration of the history, power, and future of libraries, The Library Book was named a top book by The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Goodreads Book Club Picks. Ms. Orlean’s 1998 book, The Orchid Thief, inspired the Academy Award-winning film Adaptation, and she is a long-time staff writer at The New Yorker, and a former contributing editor at Rolling Stone and Vogue.
