All performances of CARMEN.maquia have been postponed to next season. (Dates to be announced soon.)

Spanish choreographer Gustavo Ramirez Sansano created the character Carmen in 2012 and
Carmen.maquia as a piece created to honor women. Carmen, signifying a strong, independent woman, and “maguia” referring to her as uncontainable, aims to take theatergoers on an emotional and relatable journey. And, through the journey, gypsy Carmen ends up captivating Don Jose just as Carmen.maquia is expected to captivate the Columbus audience. Performances Friday, April 3 at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 4 at 8 p.m.; Sunday, April 5 at 2 p.m.; Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 10 at 8 p.m.; and Saturday, April 11 at 8 p.m.
