Have you never used a sourdough culture? Never kneaded and shaped a bread? Then this class is for YOU! We’ll go through the process step by step. We’ll take a look at what a fully active starter looks like — because you’ll pick up Bernadett’s special starter before class. We’ll mix up a dough so you can see how easy it can be. We’ll cover simple shaping techniques. We’ll talk about all the different goodies you can prepare with your starter.
Please note that this is an ONLINE Zoom class. It’s interactive — ask your questions during class — and make your first loaf of sourdough bread alongside Bernadett, but in YOUR OWN kitchen. By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence to bake more wonderful bread with Bernadett’s very resilient sourdough starter!
PREREGISTRATION by Thursday, 2/25/21 at 12 pm, is REQUIRED if you want sourdough starter! You can attend the class — without starter — by registering up to one hour before class. You’ll receive the online Zoom link once your enrollment is accepted. MORE INFO ON STARTER PICKUP IS ON REGISTRATION PAGE!
