A scones baking demo by Liz Martin followed by a pairing/tasting of 4 scones & 4 whiskeys by Level III Whiskey Sommelier, John Kelley
Join The Kilted Whiskey Somm & Amateur Baker Liz Martin for an evening of Baking & Bourbon: Scones & Whiskey, supporting Wild Goose Creative and A Kid Again. Your $50 donation will include a welcome cocktail and a scones baking demo that will lead into a pairing of 4 scones (2 savory, 2 sweet) with 4 whiskeys. You’ll learn the key to mastering making scones of any variety and characteristics of whiskeys that will help you in future tastings and making pairings of your own.
This event is 21+ only and all are welcome regardless of your experience level with baking and/or whiskey. It will take place in the Bridge Gallery at the 400 West Rich Studios. Space is limited to 20 people to create a socially distanced, safe environment. Masks will be required.
100% of your donation will be split between nonprofits, Wild Goose Creative, whose mission is to build a creative community at the intersection of art, risk and meaning and A Kid Again, who exist to foster hope, happiness, and, healing for children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
