Audio Tour for Visually Impaired Visitors at the Ohio Craft Museum

September 25, 2018 6:30 pm @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Ohio Craft Museum is offering one audio-described touch tour of Shelter: Crafting a Safe Home exhibition.

Designated for visitors with visual impairments and their companions, the tours offer the ability to experience the richness and diversity of the works on display. The guide, Jane Ehrenfeld, will combine verbal descriptions of the works with the tactile experience of touching samples of materials, facsimiles or the artworks themselves.

Private group tours are also available for groups of eight people or more- either audio described touch tours, or educator-led, conversation-based gallery tours without audio descriptions. To schedule a group tour, please email us.

Space is limited for this free program and registration is required; Register online here, or call the museum at (614) 486-4402 or email us to be put on our mailing list for when new tours are announced. Funded by Eye Designs of Grandview.
