An Evening with Elizabeth Strout

April 26, 2018 7:00 pm @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Bexley Public Library invites you to join us on April 26 at Capital University’s Mees Hall to hear Pulitzer Prize-winning author Elizabeth Strout. In this special evening event, Elizabeth Strout will reflect on her most recent works and her writing process, followed by a Q&A. Her latest book, “Anything is Possible,” was released in May 2017 and quickly joined the New York Times Bestseller list. It recalls the structure and complexity of her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “Olive Kitteridge” while returning to the unforgettable cast of characters in the bestselling “My Name is Lucy Barton.” The Washington Post wrote, “These stories return Strout to the core of what she does more magnanimously than anyone else, which is to render quiet portraits of the indignities and disappointments of normal life, and the moments of grace and kindness we are gifted in response.”
