Who doesn’t love switching things up with breakfast for dinner every once and a while? We do! That’s why Columbus Underground is bringing together Columbus’ best brunch makers at the All Things Brunch Festival on April 20.

The event will be jam-packed with food samples, experiences by local business, live entertainment and more. Plus, no brunch event would be complete without a cocktail menu. We have put together a specialty bar menu including everyone’s brunch favorites and our friends at Noble Cut Distillery will be there to put some unique twists on cocktail classics with their whiskey! While we wait impatiently for the event to get here, we thought we’d share some mouth-watering previews of what you can expect at the event.

When you walk on the front patio at Balboa, you might feel like you’ve been transported to a different state. Inspired by the chill vibes you can find in Southern California, they are all about giving you a space to kick back and relax over a plate that will have you thinking you are on the border. At the All Things Brunch Festival they will be serving up their Chilaquiles: fried corn tortillas tossed in a spicy Salsa Borracha topped with queso fresco, crema, and micro cilantro.

Snuggled in on booming Fourth Street, Hadley’s Bar and Kitchen serves up a hip and creative menu that brings taste to the forefront of conversation. Hadley’s inspiration began with the hunt for the best burger, so genuine and satisfying that you can’t wait to indulge with a cocktail or your favorite craft beer. The menu highlights daily specials that span a diverse palate including a Vegan Monday menu and weekend brunch. The open space and welcoming, upscale diner atmosphere provides a great after work or after hours spot. At the All Things Brunch Festival, Hadley’s will be dishing out their Doughnut French Toast – cake donuts battered and griddled, topped with candied bacon and bourbon infused maple syrup.

In the heart of Downtown Columbus, Milestone 229 offers spectacular views of the skyline, Bicentennial Park and of the Scioto Mile. They serve elevated comfort food from their scratch-kitchen with the finest and freshest ingredients. Milestone 229 is a great place to stop in for their weekday happy hour or on your way to a show, being walking distance to many of Downtown venues, events and festivals. At the All Things Brunch Festival they will be featuring their Blueberry French Toast with whipped lemon ricotta and salted maple syrup

Bareburger seems to always be surprising Columbus foodies with something new! This New York-based burger boutique has added a second Columbus location and brought the impossible burger to us in the past year or so and they have done it again, bringing us brunch! Their new weekend menu is full of healthy, sustainable and unique items. Guests can choose from a variety of egg dishes, many of which are gluten-free, breakfast tacos, waffle dishes and much more. We are so excited they will be sharing a sampling of their new menu at the All Things Brunch Festival!

Featured food samples will be available from:Tupelo Doughnuts, Asterisk Supper Club, Bareburger, Uncle Giant, Dough Mama, Tucci’s, Sunny Street Cafe, PORTTION, Nate’s Steamed Bagels, Taste of Belgium, Grandview Café, Balboa, Hadley’s Bar + Kitchen, Forno Kitchen + Bar, Milestone 229, First Watch, Whole Foods, The Goat, Roaming Goat Coffee, Snowville Creamery and more.

We have partnered again this year with Aveda’s Earth Jam to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Camp Oty’okwa. Aveda will be on site with product samples for all guests, mini pampering experiences and a taste of their May event!

Tickets are going fast, grab yours today! A limited number of general admission tickets are on sale today for $25 and include entrance to the event from 7-9 p.m. and bites from each vendor. For serious brunchers, $30 Early Bird Passes are available and allow guests exclusive entry at 6 p.m., giving them an extra hour of time at the event.
