All Hallow's Eve

Sat., Oct. 12 & 19, 2019 • 5:30–9:30 p.m.
Ohio Village, I-71 & 17th Avenue (Exit 111), Columbus
(The Ohio History Center will close at 4 p.m.on Oct. 12 & 19 to prepare for this event)

Please note that the Quarter Horse Congress is going on at the Ohio Expo Center adjacent to the Ohio History Center. There is increased traffic and road closures. The Ohio History Center is best accessed from I-71, exit 111. Once on 17th Avenue, make sure to stay in the far right lane and follow signs into the Ohio History Center parking lot.

Enjoy an evening of 1890s-style family fun at All Hallows’ Eve, with a retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by the bonfire, pumpkin carving and strange characters roaming Ohio Village. Come revel in Victorian-era entertainment including fortune telling, crafts, games and more!

Watch a Punch and Judy puppet show performace of The Legend of Sleepy Hallow
Learn how pumpkin carving, mask-making and other popular Halloween traditions got their start
Follow the lit pumpkin path to the amphitheater and watch for the ghostly apparition of the Headless Horseman, as our storyteller retells Washington Irving’s famous story
Take part in a 19th century masquerade party and try traditional dancing
Make your own mask, carve a pumpkin and enjoy hot cider
Explore the traditions of fortune telling and learn about astrology, sortilege and runes
Play Victorian parlor games

General Admission:
General admission tickets for All Hallows’ Eve go on sale Tues., Sept. 3.
$16/Adult; $12/Youth (ages 4–12); Free/Child (age 3 &under)

Included in this total ticket price is a 5% arts and culture fee on the base ticket as required by the City of Columbus. This fee supports exemplary artists, arts and cultural organizations and programs that educate and engage audiences of all ages throughout greater Columbus.
