Adulting with Yelp’s Reuse and ReStore

April 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

  • Sumo

This Adulting with Yelp event is going to take you behind the scenes of Habitat for Humanity where you’ll get to learn more about their efforts to eliminate substandard housing and create the opportunity for homeownership in Ohio. Once we tour their ReStore, we’ll roll up our sleeves with the crafting experts at Studio 614 who will walk us through taking one persons trash and turning it into a new treasure of our very own. We’ll be making customizable hanging shelves with mix-n-match knobs. Perfect for hanging jewelry, scarfs, etc. Let’s get creative and craft together!

*THIS IS A PRIVATE EVENT HOSTED BY YELP. FOR QUESTIONS, CONTACT US at [email protected], NOT THE BUSINESS.*

RSVP INSTRUCTIONS:
** Make sure your e-mail settings are turned on in your Account Settings. Confirm e-mails will be sent to the e-mail associated with your account.

1. To be considered for a spot you must click the “RSVP” button on the right to opt in. A comment below does not equal a RSVP and a RSVP does not equal a confirmed spot. You *MUST* receive a confirmation email to attend.

2. You must use a real name, clear face photo and be located in Cbus. While that ice cream cone does look delish, we want to hang with real people! Do you need a profile? Sign up at yelp.com/signup

3. Space is limited and it’s not guaranteed that everyone who RSVPs will get a spot. Please only RSVP if you’d be committed to attending if you made the list!

**P.S Each guest must RSVP individually. If planning to attend with a friend, please include their name in the freeform questions.**

ABOUT THE BIZ:

RESTORE: Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is on a mission to eliminate substandard housing and create the opportunity for homeownership in Franklin and Licking counties. But that’s not all. We take it a step further by diverting more than 1,600 tons of durable materials from the local landfill, every year. Communities dig this. A lot. Have you ever been to a landfill? Yikes.

STUDIO 614: We are a craft n’ sip BYOB art studio offering painting and DIY crafting classes to our Columbus community. We offer a calendar of public classes and host private parties for special occasions like bachelorette parties, corporate gatherings, date night or girls night out! These events can be held almost anywhere, from our studio in Clintonville or a local restaurant to your own living room or garage!
