    Town Street from Civic Center Drive to High Street will be closed for a $6.5 million going-over. Detours will be marked when work begins this spring; it’s expected to be finished in the fall.

    The Town Street project is marked as “committed,” meaning it will happen. Labeled as “likely” is the conversion of Front Street to two-way between Broad and Rich streets.

    Henderson Road will undergo a $4.6 million reconstruction between N. High Street and Rt. 315. The work is expected to begin in spring and finish in December. One lane of eastbound traffic between High and Starret Road will be maintained. Westbound traffic will be detoured to W. North Broadway, and Rt. 161 could be another alternative, Blackwood said.
