The popular restaurant, tucked just inside Pearl Alley, temporarily closed its doors in late December for an interior upgrade. They returned from their two-month hiatus last Thursday. Main renovations included the installation of new kitchen equipment, sleek new seating, and a revamped menu. One wall features for-sale paintings from local artists, while the other displays a framed hodgepodge of rubenesque portrait prints by Colombian artist Fernando Botero. El Arepazo celebrated ten years of service in Central Ohio in 2015.

El Arepazo is open for lunch only at 47 N. Pearl Street. Current hours are Monday – Friday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.elarepazolatingrill.com.
