The City of Dublin is ready to unveil what they have in store for their new landmark Riverside Park in the center of the city. On Monday, March 28th, residents and stakeholders are being invited to take part in an open house for the master plan to provide feedback on the design and the programming.
Riverside Park will see the transformation of the existing natural wooded area located on both banks of the Scioto River in the heart of the new Bridge Street Corridor. The plan calls for bike and walking trails, and an iconic pedestrian bridge to connect both sides of the community in an area where crossings are more limited. Additionally, the park space will include public plazas, rock climbing and an outdoor ice skating rink.
City of Dublin staff and consultants from landscape design firm MKSK will be on hand during the public open house from 6pm to 8pm at the Dublin Community Rec Center to answer questions and provide more information.
Once all construction is completed, Riverside Park will be flanked by dense new mixed-use development known as Bridge Park and Bridge Park West on each side of the river. To learn more about the ongoing development, CLICK HERE for our recent interview with the team at Crawford Hoying.
