For anyone looking for a holiday lights experience this season that is unlike any other lights display in the city, you are in luck! Dragon Lights will be returning to the Natural Resources Park of the Ohio Expo Center beginning Friday, November 23, 2018 and the festival plans to draw visitors from around the state.

This marks the third year for the festival in Columbus, previously named the Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival.

“Dragon Lights is a nod to our traditional 200-feet long dragon lantern,” says Huiyuan Liu, onsite operations manager for Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc.

The festival brings together light, art, and entertainment, providing “an opportunity to explore both the ancient culture of China while learning about China today” and promises 100% new displays and entertainment. Forty new lanterns will be on display and the signature dragon lantern will be new. Shop a panda-themed marketplace and Chinese handicraft arts to take home the experience.

Tickets to the festival are available online, at the door, at the Ohio State University Student Union and CAM International Market. Day of tickets can be purchased at the entrance. Prices: Adults – $17 in advance; $19 at the door; Youth (5 -16) – $12 in advance; $14 at the door; Kids (4 and under) – Free; Military (with ID) – $14 in advance; $16 at the door; Senior (65+) – $14 in advance; $16 at the door. Family Four Pack (2 adults and 2 youth tickets only) are $50 in advance; $55 at the door.
