The menu includes a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, “Mahone-whiches,” entrees and sides. Reuben fritters, Celtic sausage rolls, Irish beef stew, bangers and mash, and corned beef and cabbage add authenticity to the menu, while items like their wings, grilled chicken sandwich, and burgers aim to make it approachable.

The space itself will seat more than 100, inside and outside, and will host live entertainment.

Executive Chef Mike Bradwell said they’d throw several soft openings, one on Tuesday for the Columbus Police and Fire Departments, and one on Wednesday for roughly 50 local friends. A grand opening will take place on Friday and Saturday next week, August 25 and 26, and will include a showing of the Mayweather-McGregor fight.

After the grand opening, Pub Mahone will operate from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. It’s located at 31 E. Gay St.
