Dallas-based direct sales company and custom men’s clothier J.Hilburn is setting up a brick-and-mortar shop at Bridge Park in Dublin.

The 1,143 square foot showroom is slated to open at 6560 Longshore St. later this month. At the helm will be J. Hilburn independent stylist Libby Tonucci.

“When I started as a stylist for the company, I was lacking community and quickly realized that I wanted to grow a team,” says Tonucci. “Bridge Park gives me that growth opportunity with its ideal location and community-driven initiatives.”

The Bridge Park location is one of the first stylist-led showrooms for J.Hilburn, which operates corporate shops in Seattle, New York, Dallas and Boston.

J.Hilburn traditionally engages independent consultants to sell directly to clients, providing men custom shirts, and made-to-measure suits and sportswear. An article in Inc. magazine published in February 2013, dives into how the clothier is putting a spin on a traditional multi-level marking company. The J.Hilburn stylist website also outlines the process of becoming a stylist with the company, which includes MLM hallmarks like purchasing kits to get started and describes multiple ways to earn, from personal sales commissions to team sales commissions. Bonus trips, rewards and a luxury car program are also touted.

The Bridge Park location will be home to seven J.Hilburn stylists, with plans to add more. A press release about the new locations states that, “Tonucci hopes all J.Hilburn stylists in the area, outside of the Bridge Park location, will use the showroom to encourage collaboration and growth in the Ohio market.”

J.Hilburn at Bridge Park will be open to the public, and accept appointments and walk-ins. Stylists can also travel to clients at home or office.

“We want everything we do here at Bridge Park to be personal,” says Brent Crawford, principal at Crawford Hoying, owner and developer of Bridge Park. “J.Hilburn offers a completely personalized experience for not only their clients, but our visitors here at Bridge Park. We think it’ll be a perfect fit in the Dublin community.”
