Dinin’ Hall Returns for a Third Season at 400 West Rich

Local food truck fans will only have to wait one more month (Thursday, May 8th!) before food truck hub Dinin’ Hall reopens their doors at 400 West Rich Street in East Franklinton. The popular lunch spot launched in 2012 and has hosted over 50 different trucks and carts in the past two years.

This year will be a bit different though. Dinin’ Hall only plans to be open Thursday and Friday for lunch, from 11am to 2pm. And the payment transaction system inside the building is being eliminated to keep the process streamlined at the actual trucks.

“We want to make visiting Dinin’ Hall a special thing to do, a place where you want to bring your family, a few friends or a group of colleagues,” says Dinin’ Hall co-founder Tim Lai. “The new system aims to make it as simple and flexible as possible for our food vendors.”

Other updates at the space include new interior signage that will help to refresh the warehouse loading-dock space.

According to the Dinin’ Hall online calendar, some of the upcoming trucks that will be featured include Green Meanie, Kinetic Food Truck, Teodora’s Kitchen, Aromaku, Kenny’s Meat Wagon, Challah, Dos Hermanos, Street Thyme and Swoop Food Truck.

“We’re extremely excited to announce the re-opening of Dinin’ Hall,” says co-founder Eliza Ho’ Hall. “It’s been a very long and tough winter, and we want to have a big come back in the spring.”
