Each Spring, the Women’s Board of the Columbus Museum of Art hosts the Decorators’ Show House, a two-week affair that showcases one glorious house decked out by the hottest interior decorators in Central Ohio. This year, the House is at 21 South Parkview Avenue in Bexley, and each room has been furnished by a different talent bringing a distinct point of view.

Equally as interested in palatable expression are the restaurants of Dine Originals, who celebrated ten years of delicious variety earlier this year. Not coincidentally, as the Decorators’ Show House celebrates twenty years, they’ve partnered with Dine Originals to offer participants to the annual event the chance to lunch each day during the April 23rd – May 12th showcase.

Dine Orignals Café will feature Barcelona Restaurant for lunch during the first week, and include others like Columbus Brewing Company and Spinelli’s Deli for the duration of the home parade. In addition, the Decortators’ Show House also wants you to join them for dinner every evening at the location from 6:00pm-8:00pm. These reservation-only dinners are $35 per person, and will feature family-style meals from such lauded restaurants as G. Michael’s, Skillet, and The Refectory.

These dinners do not include the cost of admission however, so tickets must be bought separately. And if you’re interested in doing some creating of your own, you can sign up to take one of three special cooking classes that will be offered. Classes are $30 and, again, reservations must be made. You’ll learn valuable cooking lessons from how to make some unconventional crockpot recipes, to tips on how to compose not-your -average salad. Classes run from 9:30am – 11:00am, so save your spot early.

All proceeds from this affair go to benefit the Columbus Museum of Art, so there’s really no good reason not to come out and experience some of the style Columbus has to offer. Admission to the Decorators’ Show House is only $15, and viewings begin at 11:00am daily.
