DiLoretto Hired at Gateway Film Center
The Gateway Film Center announced yesterday that local tv news personality Johnny DiLoretto would be accepting the position of Director of Operations at the South Campus Gateway theater. DiLoretto is known throughout the community as a feature reporter on ABC 6/FOX 28 Good Day Columbus as well as through WCBE radio programs including “Foodcast” and “Cinema Classics” (the latter of which he co-hosts, co-produces and writes).
“We’re very excited to have Johnny assume such a high leadership role on our team,” said Chris Hamel, the film center’s president. “His knowledge of the film industry and the greater Columbus area will be a unique asset to the theater.”
In addition to daily operations of the film center, DiLoretto will play a role in assisting with the development of the programming at atmosphere of the theater, as well as overseeing the Martini Shot Bistro located within the theater.
“This is a very exciting opportunity for me to come aboard the Gateway,” said DiLoretto. “It’s such a great fit for me and I’m thrilled to be a part of this amazing team that’s made the film center one of the most vital, happening spots in the city.”
