Doors open 6 AM at 2 East Broad Street (Broad and High), expect some long but quickly moving lines as urbanites and office workers queue up to fuel up with coffee and donuts.

I spoke with Mike Bruno, President and Chief Operating Officer of USA Restaurant Developers the company planning on growing 30 or more DD locations in Columbus.

    DD2

Bruno has observed many changes in Columbus since he was last here as an OSU student. He is impressed with the growth and many positive changes in the capital city since his undergraduate days as well as the expansion of restaurant offerings.

Columbus may also see something more modern as USARD expands locations. In October 2008, Dunkin Donuts opened their first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified location in Florida. Bruno wants to be a LEED leader with hopes to be the first to open a LEED restaurant in Columbus.

Additional information on new locations, new products, employment and community relations can be found at the USARD Web Site: USA Restaurant Developers
