Cup O Joe Closing Lennox Location
After 20 years of serving lattes at the Lennox Town Center, local coffee shop Cup O Joe is closing its doors a that location. The company posted an update on Facebook yesterday stating that while they had been considering a major remodel for the space, their landlords decided to go in a different direction with a new tenant.
“We have had a great run at Lennox and wish Developers Diversified and their new tenants all the best,” stated Cup O Joe via Facebook. “DD runs a great center, we enjoyed our space, and really appreciated our guests.”
Several years ago, the locally-based Cup O Joe brand stretched across seven locations, but is now down to just one in Clintonville. The Easton Town Center and Port Columbus locations were closed after leases expired, the Bexley store was closed when the building it was located in was torn down for new development, the Short North location was closed and relocated inside the North Market under the company’s Stauf’s brand, and the German Village location was also renovated and rebranded as Stauf’s. The company also operates the Mojoe Lounge cafe located Downtown, and Stauf’s in Grandview Heights.
The tenant replacing Cup O Joe at Lennox has not specifically been named at this point in time, but is likely to be the new home of CoreLife Eatery, who announced expansion plans there earlier this year. Marshalls is also working on building a new location at the shopping center, which is already under construction.
The final day to visit Cup O Joe at the Lennox Town Center is on Tuesday, May 23rd.
