    The Crew is on the cusp of extraordinary achievement. Jump on the bandwagon. It is more than 100 years in the making. Our city has a long history of professional sporting endeavors. We tend to forget how deep our roots go. They are even embedded in America’s pastimes.

    We have had all manner of teams, in most every sport, from the highest level down to transient trash. We have had the Glory, the Magic and the Horizon. We have had the Tigers, Owls and Golden Seals. We have had the Checkers and the Chill, not to mention the Xogzz. So let’s not mention the Xogzz. Or the Minks.

    The Jackets are trying to turn their on-ice fortunes and expand their fan base. And the Crew is on track to secure the biggest professional team title in the history of our city.
