The Coronavirus is taking a toll on everyone, but for small businesses in the handmade craft market, it can be especially scary. Craftin’ Outlaws, Columbus’ longest running alternative craft fair, was set to have their spring show on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
It has since been cancelled and rescheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2020. Organizer Megan Green regrouped and has scheduled an online version of the popular craft fair to happen Wednesday, March 18th through Sunday, March 29th.
“We might not be able to meet face to face but the spirit of Craftin’ Outlaws lives on and the camaraderie that has brought us together these last 15 years is what we will capture online for our vendors and our fans,” says Green.
Green has organized the show into a theme for each day over the twelve day period. Attracting vendors from all over the Midwest, Craftin’ Outlaws sees many guests and hopes to see similar support for the online show.
“We want to do what we can to recreate an Outlaws experience online and continue with building up our creative landscape of Columbus”, says Green.
The show schedule is:
- March 18 – ACCESSORIES & APPAREL & SCREEN PRINTING
- March 19 – ART
- March 20 – BATH & BODY
- March 21 – CERAMICS
- March 22 – CHILDREN
- March 23 – FIBER GOODS
- March 24 – HANDBAGS
- March 25 – LOCAL SHOPS
- March 26 – HOUSEWARES
