The state of emergency declared by the Columbus Division of Police due to ongoing protests has kept buses rerouted out of the Downtown area since Saturday, May 30.

The reroutes have impacted lines 1 through 12, line 102 and CMAX.

Transfer points will resume at their regular locations as well as the 8 p.m. nightly line-up. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, COTA has been operating on a modified schedule with bus service ending at 9 p.m. nightly.

As more people return to work as restrictions due to the coronavirus are eased, COTA will also be expanding early morning service to six more frequent and crosstown transit lines, including lines 3, 5, 7, 31 and 32 which will now run from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. Service for line 12 will begin at 7 a.m.
