Construction Roundup: September 2012 Part 2
As the warm summer transitions quickly into a cool fall, we’re also seeing many construction projects transitioning throughout Columbus into different phases.
A new apartment building tucked away in Harrison West has topped off at four stories and continues with build out. The Fifth Avenue Dam has been half demolished, rendering this stretch of the Olentangy River more capable of displaying an array of water levels during rainfall and drought. And always, the Interstate 71/670 project trudges forward ahead of schedule, while one of the most noticeable new developments is the installation of the crossbeams on the Spring Street Bridge, scheduled for reopening to auto traffic this November.
