    Construction Roundup – November 2017 – Part 2

    In the second installment of our Construction Roundup series this month, we take a look at construction sites in the Italian Village, Weinland Park, Downtown, RiverSouth, University District, Grandview Heights and Franklinton areas.

    Those projects include a brewery expansion at Seventh Son, new single family homes in Grandview Heights and ongoing office development at Grandview Yard.

    Oh, and some new places to live too. A massive wave of new residences in Weinland Park is under way, new for-sale condos are under construction in the Arena District and Grandview Yard, and of course, the construction of mixed-use apartment developments can be found in Italian Village, at Seventh and High, at Northwood and High, at Lane and High, at 16th and High, at Lane and Tuttle Park, on West Broad in Franklinton, on West Rich in Franklinton, at Columbus Commons, at Rich and High and at Gay and High. Just to name a few.

    The first phase of construction is under way at the Budd Dairy site in Italian Village.

    Construction continues on the Seventh Son expansion in Italian Village.

    New apartments are under construction at Grant Park in Weinland Park.

    Work continues on a new mixed-use apartment building at Seventh and High in the University District.

    Land is cleared for the start of construction at the View on Pavey Square development north of OSU.

    A new five-story mixed-use apartment building continues with construction at Lane and High.

    The exterior finishes are going into place at The Wellington mixed-use apartment building at 16th and High.

    A new seven-story building is topping out at Tuttle Park and Lane Avenue adjacent to OSU.

    Wood framing is rising on the six story new build at Gay and High Streets, Downtown.
