    Construction Roundup: Downtown, Franklinton & Arena District

    It’s been a very long time since we had regular Construction Roundup photo updates, which means a lot of progress has been occuring if you haven’t been out “crane spotting” during the pandemic.

    Below, we’ve got some photo updates from Downtown Columbus, The Discovery District, The Arena District, Franklinton and some other nearby hot spots.

    Work has begun on a large two-story single-family home in the middle of the Neighborhood Launch development Downtown.
    Elevator and stairwell shafts have gone up at Library Park Phase 3 in the Discovery District.
    Work has progressed quickly in the two months since our Columbus Crew SC hard hat stadium tour in September.
    The new offices of CoverMyMeds has risen quickly on the southern edge of Franklinton.
    The Farrow Harley Davidson Dealership is expanding its showroom at 491 West Broad Street in Franklinton.
    Work has begun on the first phase of The Peninsula development, adjacent to COSI.
    Land has been cleared for the next phase of Gravity in Franklinton.
    Work continues at The Matan, an LC development in the RiverSouth district Downtown.
    Construction is nearly complete at the High+Cherry apartment building on South High Street.
    The highway interchange of interstates 70 and 71 are being reworked at Parsons Avenue near Children’s Hospital.
    The next phase of growth at Children’s Hospital is already under way along Livingston Avenue.
    After the Residences at Topiary Park apartments caught fire earlier this year, the five-story building was leveled so that construction could start over from scratch.
    Construction is wrapping up at the second phase of Library Park apartments in the Discovery District.
    The new AC Hotel on Park Street near the North Market appears to be nearing completion of exterior construction.
    Construction continues on new and renovated apartments near the intersection of Third and Long streets Downtown.
    Exterior work is wrapping up on the first of several new buildings at Neil and Vine streets in the Arena District, which will be home to new offices for Chipotle.
    Work continues on the next phase of “The Reach”, a mixed-use redevelopment of the White Castle HQ site in the northwest corner of Downtown.
