    Construction Roundup: August 2018 – Part 2

    The second half of our Construction Roundup photo series includes an update on a variety of new projects. These include new apartment buildings, for-sale single family homes, new offices, hotels, retail spaces and more. This installment focuses on construction currently taking place in Italian Village, the University District, The Short North and Downtown Columbus.

    Exterior work is nearly complete on the four-story residential development that took the place of the old Exile nightclub.

    Work continues on the Budd Dairy project, which includes multiple new buildings as well as a historic renovation.

    Several new homes are under construction in smaller scattered sites across the Italian Village neighborhood.

    Work continues at The View on Pavey Square mixed-use apartment building, just north of OSU.

    This new five-story mixed-use apartment building has nearly topped out at Summit and Fifth in Italian Village.

    Retailers have opened as work wraps up at Wilson Place, a new five-story mixed-use building at Lane & High.

    The new 12-story Canopy by Hilton Hotel has topped out its new Downtown location on Nationwide Boulevard.

    Retailers have begun opening at The Wellington building, just in time for OSU students to return for the start of the school year.

    Ground floor details are falling into place at the new nine-story office building at 711 High in the Short North.

    The 10-story Moxy Hotel development in the Short North has reached the halfway point in its verticality.

    Work is wrapping up and tenants are moving into The Castle building in the Short North.

    Work continues on a new six-story mixed-use apartment building at Third & High in the Short North.

    Exterior work continues at The Luxe Belle mixed-use apartment building near The Gateway.

    Leasing has begun at the six-story mixed-use apartment building at Seventh and High as construction wraps up.

    A block of buildings was recently demolished as a part of the 15th & High redevelopment program.

    Work continues on the new Stonewall Columbus headquarters, which includes a mix of preservation and new build construction.

    The exterior is nearly complete on the new four-story mixed-use office and retail development at First and High in the Short North.
