    Construction Roundup: August 2018 – Part 1

    The first half of this month’s Construction Roundup photo series features a variety of new development projects located in Downtown Columbus, The Short North, Italian Village, University District, Franklinton and beyond. These new buildings contain a mix of apartments, condos, offices, parking structures, retail businesses and more.

    Work is still being wrapped up at The Luxe Belle mixed-use development as student return to the University District.

    Leasing has begun as work is completed at the six-story mixed-use “Uncommon” project at Seventh and High.

    The second LC RiverSouth building is seeing exterior work progress as bricks coat the new apartment project.

    Work continues at The Matan, another five-story apartment building rising in the RiverSouth District.

    A construction crane was recently disassembled at the six-story mixed-use development on High Street between Gay and Long Streets, Downtown.

    More apartments are quickly being construction at The Legacy at Jeffrey Park in Italian Village.

    More for-sale homes are also under construction at Jeffrey Park in Italian Village, filling in the large residential site.

    A new residential building at Jeffrey Park in Italian Village is rising quickly along North Fourth Street.

    Work is nearly complete on the new 80 on the Commons building in Downtown Columbus, which has its first residents already moved in.

    Construction is progressing quickly at River & Rich, a new five-story mixed-use residential development in Franklinton.
