First Look: Condado Opening at Columbus Commons

Red hot local restaurant Condado Tacos is officially opening its second location tomorrow at 132 South High Street at Columbus Commons. The popular Short North location continues to remain regularly busy ever since opening in late 2014, and the new location is expecting the same kind of reception.

“Condado at Columbus Commons is going to be regular spot for lunch, dinner and chips and margaritas,” said owner Joe Kahn. “We offer fun, flavorful and affordable lunch and dinner options to the thousands of people who work downtown and our urban neighbors.”

The new 3,500 square foot restaurant was originally slated to open in time for Cinco de Mayo, but construction delays set it back an extra month. Regardless, the food and drink will begin flowing this weekend with over 50 types of tequila, 25 craft beers on tap, and thousands of taco combinations on file thanks to a scantron-like ordering system that allows nearly endless menu choices.

The Downtown Condado will open seven days a week at 11am for lunch, staying open until Midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.
