Crazy Richards’s Peanut Butter is made right here in Columbus, OH! This family-owned company is dedicated to using only clean ingredients sourced from American peanut farmers that they know and trust. There is only one ingredient in their peanut butter – the peanuts themselves. They are on a mission to show the world how versatile peanut butter really can be. At Best Bites: Comfort Food they will be making chocolate grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches hot and fresh for you to try!

Dirty Franks Hot Dog Palace has a single, unapologetic passion: serving food and drinks people love. If that’s not Comfort Food, we don’t know what is! Dirty Franks has been slinging Hot Dogs and other delicious pairings since 2009. At Best Bites: Comfort Food they will be serving up their Chili Mac, house-made macaroni and cheese mixed with house-made coney sauce, topped with scallions.

Sabauce Handcrafted Marinade is hoping to introduce more eastern flavors into our western pallets. This unique yogurt-based sauce was inspired by a deep love of traditional family cooking. Head Chef, Amit Amin, grew up watching the joy that cooking brought to his family and through travels and experiences was inspired to create what has become, Sabauce. At Best Bites: Comfort Food, you will get to try Chicken, Pork and Portobellos all made Sabauce style!

Did you know COSI has it’s very own on site chef and catering team? From creating dishes daily for their cafe that guests can enjoy, to creating five-course meals for weddings and events, they have got you covered. At Best Bites: Comfort Food you will get to try a little piece of what COSI catering has to offer. Stop by their table and taste BBQ Cheddar Mac with a Chipotle-Maple Boneless Wing.

Tucked away north of Downtown where Ohio State’s campus meets the community, Trillium Kitchen and Patio hopes to be a local gathering place for friends and a welcoming haven for visitors to the neighborhood. Executive Chef Bradley Balch’s diverse menu draws inspiration from global cuisines – especially seafood— and changes regularly to highlight the finest seasonal ingredients. Everything they do is to help welcome guests in to feel at home in their space. At Best Bites: Comfort Food, they will be featuring a Pork Cheek Poutine.

Located just south of Downtown, Copious and its below-ground music venue Notes are destinations where individuals and their friends come on a regular basis to dine, to have a drink, and enjoy the best entertainment of all styles. Opened in the renovated historic McGowan Building, Copious reflects the diverse and welcoming spirit of Columbus. Through locally-sourced creations in the restaurant and the feel of a neighborhood bar/lounge, they hope to feed your soul in every way. At Best Bites: Comfort Food, they will be serving up Habanero Pepper Jack Cheese and Ditalini Pasta with Benton’s bacon breaded in Japanese Breadcrumbs, fried until golden and served with Tabasco Chive Aioli!

Tickets to the event are $30 and include food samples from all vendors, live entertainment, a specialty cash bar featuring Modelo, Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon, Jacob’s Creek Classic Chardonnay, and Saint Brendan’s Irish Cream, and voting rights to name the Best Bite of the night.
