This summer, the BrickUniverse Lego Convention will take place at the Ohio Expo Center from May 25 and 26, 2019.
At the convention, Lego fans will enjoy live Lego builds and several themed building zones, including a Big Brick Building zone for younger visitors, and a Star Wars zone with thousands of Legos to build with. The convention will also have galleries with life-sized Lego models on display.
Chicago-based Lego artist Rocco Buttliere will be bringing over 50 Lego models of famous landmarks, including the largest skyscraper in the world, the Burj Khalifa. San Diego-based Lego artist Jonathan Lopes will showcase over 30 Lego displays, including an 8-foot high Lego model of the Woolworth Building in New York City. Attendees will also have a chance to talk to Lopes about his life and work.
Columbus is the second stop for the convention, which is currently set to visit six cities this summer. Tickets are available for Columbus on either Saturday, May 25 or Sunday, May 26.
