A new study from Economic Modeling Specialist, Inc. reveals that Columbus State Community College now has an annual economic impact of nearly $1 Billion on the Central Ohio region. That figure is up 28% from a 2007 study that showed the impact to be $737M. Last year, CSCC was crowned with the distinction of being the largest Community College in the entire state, and over the past month Columbus residents have been asked to weigh in their opinion on how best to leverage CSCC and other Downtown educational institutions to help shape a new “Creative Campus” neighborhood over the course of the next decade.
