    Columbus Short Film Heads to Cannes

    Locally made short film “Stones” was recently selected for showing at this year’s Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on May 16th. The film won last year’s Columbus 48 Hour Film Project in September, where local film production teams compete to write, film and edit a short film within just one weekend.

    “Stones” was created by Hands Off Productions, a local team of filmmakers who also specialize in video production and corporate communications.

    A short film showcase will take place at the Gateway Film Center next Tuesday, April 12th from 7pm to pm which features the top films from the 48 Hour Film Festival from cities around the world. Tickets are $12 and more information can be found on their Facebook event page.
