Happy Weekend! Is everyone to the point where they are wondering WHEN will Spring get here? Technically, only one more week! Downtown’s new grocery store, The Hills Market Downtown has opened, have you checked it out? Enjoy all of the events going on for St. Patrick’s Day. Get your entries in to the Ohio Shorts Film Festival. Win tickets to Local Natives. We’re still looking for nominations for TheMetropreneur.com and The Rotary’s Social Entrepreneuship Award.


Tonight, go check out a couple of films about Franklinton, screening at the CML’s Franklinton branch. Jazz Arts Group has the Columbus Jazz Orchestra putting a jazzy twist on big band showtunes, at the Southern Theatre through Sunday. The Columbus International Auto Show is going on at the Convention Center through Sunday. Go to a talk about Home Grown Leadership at Dinin’ Hall. Dine Originals 10 Celebrations continue all weekend, and end on Wednesday. Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Blackhawks. Shadowbox Live has Best of Stage 2. Have some laughs during Comedy Kitchen Improv at Short North Stage. Columbus Documentary Week kicks off at the Gateway Film Center, see “How to Survive a Plague.” Get your applications in to vend at North Market’s Artisan Sundays.

MadLab continues performances of She’s Dead and stick around for 3 in 30: She, shows on Friday and Saturday. See Contemporary Realism at the Hammond Harkins Gallery in Bexley. Everclear and Sister Hazel play the Hollywood Casino. Go to Via Vecchia for The Frequinox. Shadowbox Live has Between the Sheets. 15 & Killin’ It has a great line-up of comedy. Fuck It Just Dance Party is back at Circus. There’s a screening of Trashed at the Gateway Film Center. Lisa Imondi performs at Short North Stage, Friday and Saturday. The OSU Faculty Club is hosting an Art Auction. The Children’s Theatre continues shows of Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse. Thread has a Nicole Miller Trunk Show. See an exhibit of Charles Burchfield’s art at the Keny Galleries. It’s Crewsmas Eve, celebrate at Fourth Street Bar.

The Hayley Gallery has an opening reception for their latest exhibit. ProMusica has a concert at the Josephinum.
