    Columbus Mega Summer Weekend 2011 – Vol. 13

    It appears we may have a bit of a break in the weather this weekend. WooHoo! Great weather to come enjoy the patio at The Refectory tonight at the CU Happy Hour. Pecha Kucha is also going on at Junctionview. The Columbus Historical Society has their free summer lecture going on tonight and the subject is the growth of Columbus over the last century through annexation. Helen of Sparta opens on Friday night and there is a member of CU in the cast! Get your paperfolding on at the Origami Convention Friday through Sunday. Did you get tickets to the soldout CD102.5 Summerfest on Saturday? It the final weekend to see Evil Dead out in the woods! It’s also the final Jazzoo on Friday night and the weather will be wonderful to visit the zoo. Or spend Friday evening on the city’s prettiest patio at COVE. Saturday is the 20th Anniversary of the Farmers Festival at the North Market and there is an Ugly Tomato Contest. Festival Latino is at Genoa Park on Saturday and Sunday. In the mood for some shopping? Check out the Gahanna Greenflea on Saturday. Enjoy PBJ and Jazz at the Topiary Park on Saturday. The Crew takes on New England Revolution on Saturday night. Saturday is also a night of Big Screen Comedy at Studio 35. CS Gallery has an artist reception for the OPEN show on Saturday night. The Goodale Park Music Series is on Sunday with Kique Infante. The Mods vs. Rockers ride is back on Sunday! And end your weekend with Morrissey Sundays at Little Palace.
