Looking for things to do this weekend? The Ohio State Fair continues through Sunday. Head over on Saturday to visit the Columbus Crafty Cotillion to find lots of handmade items. If you are looking to adopt a new pet, the CHA Animal Shelter is having an event all weekend where their adoption fees are half off. The Columbus Wine Festival is happening in Franklin Park on Aug. 7 & 8. Check out the new Chihuly exhibit while you are there! To coincide with the opening of Julia & Julia, the Arena Grand is hosting a special cooking event on Saturday. If you would like to see some theater, MadLab has shows happening all weekend, as does The Actors’ Theatre in Schiller Park. The Actors’ Theatre just opened As You Like It this weekend. Waterfire is doing a burn tonight at 8:30pm. The Alliance of Greater Central Ohio will be providing music. The Goodale Park Music Series also continues on Sunday.
