CoGo Bike Share has announced new bike stations will be coming to Easton as ongoing plans for expansion into Bexley, Grandview Heights, and Upper Arlington are underway.
Four CoGo bike stations, including 60 docks and 32 bikes, will be placed at one of Columbus’ most popular shopping and entertainment destinations. Previous plans for expansion already included 26 additional stations and 232 bikes.
“Easton is a place for family fun and CoGo Bike Stations will give many of our 2 million visitors each month and 30,000 employees who work in the Easton area an opportunity to move around conveniently on two wheels,” said Jennifer Peterson, chief executive of Easton.
“Expanding our reach into Easton will help us to increase the efforts in making Columbus a smart mobility city. With the adoption of CoGo, Easton guests and workers will be able to get from point A to point B faster and more efficiently,” said Derek Wurst, general manager of CoGo.
Plans to start placing stations at Easton are set to begin in the fall and conclude by the end of 2018. Exact locations for the CoGo stations are to be announced.
