Five local bands will perform Friday night at the Crest Tavern to raise funds for the Clintonville Community Market.
For a suggested donation of $6, market supporters will be able to enjoy the music and will be treated to appetizers and an Indian dinner at the tavern, 397 Crestview Road. The event will run from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Frank Tennyson, of the Clintonville Community Market, said the money raised will help to buy five or six large billboards for the market, on which patrons can post announcements, requests for ride shares, requests for housing and information on local events.
