The newest Grandview Yard restaurant tenant was unveiled today, as representatives with project developer Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) announced that Chick-Fil-A will be opening a location on the northern end of the site. The Atlanta-based chicken sandwich chain will be constructing a 3,000 square foot store at the corner of Third Avenue and Rail Street.
“This addition will be a great amenity for the community, and particularly, for those who live and work at Grandview Yard,” stated NRI President and COO Brian Ellis. “The success of Giant Eagle and Panera Bread has made this a very attractive destination for retail.”
While the new Grandview Yard location will more closely resemble its traditional suburban counterparts, Chick-Fil-A is also working on a High Street location near OSU, which will be housed in the six-story Wellington building that is currently under construction.
The Grandview Yard Chick-fil-A location is planning for an October opening.
