Those who were thrilled to find Columbus Brewing Company’s Bodhi bottled up and ready to take home can now do the same with CBC’s Creeper.
“Now that Bodhi is slowly finding its way to the market, we are able to shift some of our focus and release the much sought after Creeper,” said Eric Bean, CBC co-owner, in a press release.
The brewery has plans to celebrate the release in a similar way to the release of Bodhi: with a party. CBC will host the event on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the brewery at 2555 Harrison Road. There will be two sessions for the public, one from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the second from 3 p.m. to 6. p.m.
“We had so much fun releasing Bodhi at the brewery, we wanted to share the same experience with our fans during the Creeper release,” Bean said.
Tickets for the event are $5, plus a service fee, and all of the proceeds are going to be donated to Growlers Dog Bones, a non-profit employment and vocational training agency catering specifically to the needs of individuals with disabilities. The group bakes spent grains from Columbus breweries into dog bones.
Ticket sales start this weekend, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. Buying a ticket allows attendees to reserve anywhere between one and six four-packs of Creeper and offers access to a variety of CBC draft beer for purchase and a growler station “featuring infused one-offs, along with CBC, Bodhi, and Creeper branded merchandise.”
