A sign posted on the door states:

We have made the difficult decision to close our Convention District location. We’ve been open here since July 2018 and have made every attempt to make this location work but haven’t been able to get enough traction here to continue to operate this store.

The note encourages patrons to visit The Candle Lab’s three other Central Ohio locations, including Grandview, Worthington and the Short North store which is just 0.4 miles north at 751 N. High St.

The Candle Lab offers nearly 150 scents of its soy candles, and has also expanded its product line to include reed diffusers and oil, as well as body care products like bubble bath, lotion and brown sugar scrubs.

Additionally, the candle maker operates three stores outside of Central Ohio, with two shops in Cincinnati and one in Pittsburgh.
