An interesting story by Robert Paschen in yesterday’s This Week News reveals that Canal Winchester will be officially transforming from a village into a city after the completion of the 2010 census: “Canal Winchester ready for ‘city’ status“. The population of this area was 4,478 at the 2000 census, and within Ohio, city status is designated If a village exceeds 5,000 residents.
Does anyone have any other predictions on what areas within Central Ohio will have most likely seen the most growth in the past decade when the 2010 census data is finalized?
