California Pizza Kitchen Closes Original Columbus Location

After nearly 15 years of serving up customers at Easton Town Center, California Pizza Kitchen has officially closed its doors. The Easton location was the first in Central Ohio for the chain, which opened on June 5th, 2001.

According to the California Pizza Kitchen website, the 5,800 square foot Easton restaurant is listed as “closed permanently”, and the restaurant listing has been completely removed from the Easton Town Center website. The only other Central Ohio location can be found at Polaris Fashion Place, in the lower level of the mall.

Other recent closures at Easton include Cosí — which closed all Central Ohio locations — as well as The Limited, which has closed all stores across the United States. Meanwhile, Condado Tacos is opening its third Columbus location soon, with an Easton restaurant scheduled to open this spring.
