Bubbles Tea & Juice Company Celebrates 10th Anniversary, Adds Easton Location
Bubbles Tea & Juice Company has been a North Market mainstay since 2005, serving fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, and bubble teas. Their 10th anniversary is today, and they’re ringing it in with an assortment of exciting new developments.
The new Bubbles Easton location is at 4101 The Strand East, in the former Leslie’s Creperie site next to Tiffany’s. The 150 square foot location will offer a rotating daily selection of three or four fresh juices, along with smoothies and bubble teas. The juices will be prepped at the North Market location, and hauled to Easton daily. They began discussing plans with Easton in February, securing the lease just last week. Bubbles plans to open next weekend, Thursday through Sunday.
“It’s a great footnote to open a second location so close to our anniversary,” said Bubbles founder Eric Ling.
In addition to the new location, Bubbles will soon be collaborating with Cafe Brioso and Destination Donuts.
Destination Donuts’ Heather Morris will be making Bubbles-specific flavored donuts in the near future. No word on official flavors yet, but green tea and blackberry are two potential possibilities. As for Cafe Brioso, Bubbles will be using a few different flavors of their coffee in new drinks. Bubbles will also be making smoothie-flavored popsicles for spring, including one made from Cafe Brioso’s popular cold brew coffee. The drinks and popsicles are each expected to debut at both locations in a few weeks.
“Promoting local businesses is the way to go,” said Ling. “It promotes the local economy, and people feel good about it. The Short North and Arena District are doing a great job growing that sector.”
Bubbles also has a food truck in development, with tentative plans to roll out in the summer. Ling has acquired a truck, but hasn’t decided on a solid concept as of now.
Bubbles Tea & Juice company is open in North Market seven days a week. Their smoothies are also available at Market 65 and The Hills Market Downtown.
