For the kosher keeping community in Central Ohio, there aren’t a lot of spots to grab a quick bite for lunch. It’s why B’tayavon! Kosher Food Cart is back for a second summer and ready to serve the Jewish community.
The Columbus Jewish Foundation (CJF) donated the cart last summer, and with the assistance of the Economic and Community Development Institute (ECDI), the cart began serving again this summer on June 11th at the Jewish Community Center (JCC), 1125 College Avenue.
Chef Toney Robertson is the man behind the magic. He will be serving up kosher sandwiches like the Roast Beef Philly, BBQ Brisket, and, naturally, the Corned Beef Reuben. He will also have Fish Tacos with three types of salsa as well.
Each meal at B’tayavon! comes with sandwich, side, chips (or other snack), and beverage for $8-$12. Lunch is served every Wednesday from 11am – 1pm in the north parking lot between the ECS and JCC main Buildings.
In addition, B’tayavon! will make special appearances at Bexley events this summer, including The Bexley Main Event on June 19th on Capital University’s front lawn, the Bexley Farmer’s Market, and the Bexley 4th of July celebration.
