BrewDog is adding a fourth location in Central Ohio. The brewery will head to 97 W. Granville St. in New Albany (the corner of East Dublin Granville Road and Main Street) for its next adventure.
The former New Albany Mill site will provide BrewDog with over 8,600 square feet of space – 6,900 square feet of it restaurant and 1,600 plus square feet patio.
The patio will feature outdoor fire pits, super-sized games and a retractable awning over one portion. Inside, there’s interactive beer school as well as some indoor fire pits.
BrewDog New Albany will pour 24 taps featuring a mix of their own beers and additional drafts from craft breweries across the state and the world. A full food menu will also be available.
“BrewDog is excited to join a fast-developing area of the New Albany community,” the brewery said in a press release. “BrewDog’s [bar in] New Albany will fill a unique void by providing a location on the city’s north side.”
Since announcing it would expand to the U.S. via Central Ohio in 2015, BrewDog has brought its beer to several corners of the region, operating its brewery and DogHouse craft beer hotel at 96 Gender Rd. in Canal Winchester, bar, rentable Kennels and recently-opened partnership with Brown Bag Deli at 1175 N. High St. in Short North, and bar at 463 W. Town St. in Franklinton.
New Albany will be the Scotland-based brewery’s seventh location stateside with additional bars in Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh.
BrewDog’s plans replace another local expansion announced pre pandemic. Harvest Pizzeria and Granville’s Three Tigers Brewing were previously slated to team up on a joint venture in the space.
BrewDog New Albany is aiming for a spring or summer 2021 opening.
