Charlotte, NC based Bojangles will bring its southern eats to 15 locations across Columbus.

Columbus is the only new market for the restaurant in a 45-unit expansion deal with longtime franchisee Jeff Rigsby.

“Jeff has been a valued partner of the Bojangles brand for over 20 years, and we could not be more thrilled to extend this business relationship to 45 new locations, including expansion into a new market for our brand,” said Jose Costa, chief development officer for Bojangles in a press release. “He embodies what it means to proudly represent this beloved chain, and we are looking forward to many more years of success for Jeff.”

According to the Charlotte Observer, the Columbus restaurants will open later this year and early next, though no exact locations have been named.

Bojangles is known for its fried chicken, biscuits, iced tea and all-day breakfast menu. The brand currently operates more than 760 restaurants throughout the Southeast.
