Guests can enjoy some new dining experiences at The Market Italian Village, 1022 Summit St. The eatery underwent renovations late last month, revealing a modified floor plan with two new seating areas.

The Chef’s Tasting Counter seats four and overlooks the action in the kitchen. Sunday to Wednesday, it’s an a la carte situation. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, guests will dine on a four-course, prix-fixe chef’s whim tasting menu. Offering an intimate, unique dining experience, the prix-fixe menu is $50 per diner.

A booth banquette accommodates larger parties of up to 16. Parties of 12 or more will be treated to a five-course, family-style tasting menu. The menu will change monthly and costs $60 per guest.
